Welcome to CyclicNeutropenia.org!
What is CyclicNeutropenia.org?
CyclicNeutropenia.org is a tool developed by researchers at the University of Washington
and McGill University to assist in the diagnosis of cyclic neutropenia, a white
blood cell deficiency which occurs in intervals due to changing rates of cell
production in a person's bone marrow.
How does the tool work?
The Cyclic Neutropenia tool analyzes CBCs, or Complete Blood Counts, using
a statistical method called the Lomb-Scargle test. The Lomb-Scargle test is used to produce an estimate of the likelihood that a person's
CBCs show periodicity, and thus may reflect cyclic neutropenia.
Is my data safe to upload?
All calculations are done completely on your local computer. No data is
ever stored or transferred outside your computer, and a simple refresh (F5) of
your browser will clear any data you have uploaded.
How do I get started?
Click here or on the button below to upload data for analysis, or feel free to
close this window and analyze sample data to learn more about the tool.
